Accommodations

Frost Valley has approximately 700 beds available, varying from tents to yurts to a castle. We've rented their largest "motel-style" lodge, which has 24 rooms spread out over two levels. Each room has card-key access, two double-beds with linens, and a private bathroom. After we receive the RSVPs, we'll be checking with some of you to make sure we give you the best possible roommate. There is NOT air-conditioning, but we're in the mountains and our lodge is near a lake, so in September heat should not be an issue. The lodge was built in 2007 and, when we visited in 2009, still smelled quite "new." The upper half of the lodge has a large common room with leather couches, a table and chairs, a microwave, and a small refrigerator (we ask that you give fridge priority to necessities like baby formula, medicine, or tiny-children-snacks). The common room has a fireplace which we can stoke whenever we like (no shenanigans, please). Our lodge also has a fire circle nearby outside which is available for our exclusive use. For kids, there's actually a playground on the camp as well as a playroom in the family center (just in case you need extra activity spaces).
